Every year hundreds of volunteers band together to fight cancer at the Henryetta Relay for Live.
That effort started Saturday morning with a pancake breakfast bearing the, "Colors of Birthdays."
"We chose that because  each type of cancer has it's own color and we are fighting them all and want everyone to celebrate birthdays," said Michelle Brown, Relay event lead.

She said the Henryetta Relay will be held April 25 at Cameron Stadium. "This year we are going to do it a little differently. Relay will start at noon and end at midnight." Usually, the teams walk around the football field throughout the night with everything wrapping up at sunrise.
