The Knights had two seniors received 2015 2A-5 All District honors this past week.
sniderMichael Snider was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Steven Slade selected as Special Teams Player of the Year. He shared the selection with Okemah's Hunter Webb.slade
Snider saw double duty as a Knight running back as well as a defensive lineman. On defense, he had a total of 35 unassisted tackles and assisted in 72 more. He came up with two fumbles during his ten games of play.
Slade played wide receiver and offensive linebacker for Henryetta. During the year, he rushed for 167 adds and caught 16 of 34 passes. Alone the way he scored two touchdowns for the Knights. Slade had 40 tackles and recovered one fumble. He was on the kickoff return team, catching the ball ten times returning it for 198 yards.
Another senior, Alan Hargis, was named to the All-District second defensive team.

hargisHe had 26 unassisted tackles during the season and was involved in 62 others including one quarterback sack.
Receiving honorable mention from Henryetta were Aaron Fers, Dalton Carnes, raymond Harrington, Riley Berry and Ryder Hudson.
The All-District MVP award went to Grant Powell, quarterback from Stroud and Chandler's Mason Myers.
Logan Daily, Okemah and Colin Watford, Prague, were named offensive players of the year.
Getting the nod as running back of the year for the district were Alphones Bradford, Okemah, and Cody Morris, Stroud.
Michael Wilson, Chandler was named receiver of the year and Heath Konsure, Okemah, chosen as tight end of the year.
