The church has planned "Mission Saturdays" each month with the idea to be a positive impact for the community.On Feb. 13 the group will be giving away coats from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to Mary Putman, Mission Director, the giveaway will be held at the church at Second and Gentry. She said coats, gloves and scarves will be free to area residents. "No income or address verification is required. These items have been washed and mended and they are ready to keep people warm."
