Anyone who has packed for a move knows how carefully something need to be wrapped in order to avoid breaking.
intactThe Henryetta fifth grade students might be able to provide some help along that line following a special end-of-school contest.
The students were given an assignment to package a raw egg in order for it to survive a 20-foot fall. They were put to the test during the picnic held ont he last day of classes with the survivors being named "Egg-Ceptional" packers. Wrapped in everything from styrofoam to heavy boxes, their eggs made the trip in one piece.
Those that failed the test were given a special "Cracked Egg" award.
Egg-ceptional packers were: ZBilly Smock, Michael Dombek, Emily Livingston, Blake Wynn, Anthony Hernandez, Chance Whitfield, Cameron Owen, Jadince Ribordy, Robert Hernandez, Camden Berryhill, Zalen Henderson and Brody Murphy.
Earning the Cracked Egg award were katie Davis, Dannie Seaborn, Jace Francis, Bradley Dodson, Andrew Walker and Alex Easter.
