Henryettan David Morrow had a long-standing dream fulfilled this past week.
Morrow is a resident at the Lake Drive Care and Rehab Center and, at one time, enjoyed spending time on horseback.
For a number of years, he was only able to watch front he sidelines, going to every rodeo and dreaming of the time he could get back in the saddle.
Thanks to the Dream Chaser program at Lake Drive and through their parent company, MGM Healthcare, Morrow got his wish.
The June sun was beating down but Morrow was not phased as he climbed onto a big brown horse and walked it around the Living Legends rodeo arena. Cheering him on were a half dozen fellow center residents and employees. The horse was furnished by one of the center's employees.
Morrow has been at the center for nearly ten years and is the first to participate in the Dream Chaser program.
