Green Country Technology Center has hired Larry Killebrew as its new Superintendent/CEO.
For the past nine years Killebrew has served as Assistant Superintendent for Mid America Technology Center that has a daytime enrollment of approximately 800 students and 12,000 evening students.
In that position, he has supervised all construction projects, facility maintenance, Business and Industry Training, Adult and Career Development, transportation and several other areas.
Before he served as Assistant Superintendent,  rose through the ranks starting as an electrical instructor in both full-time and evening classes, Industrial Coordinator and Director of Adult Education.

Green Country Technology Center serves Okmulgee County high school and adult students in full-time programs: HVAC/R, Health Careers, Practical Nursing, Digital Media, Drafting, CNC Manufacturing, Welding, and Sports Medicine.
Short-term courses are available for adults in health careers, security, welding, dental, and community interest classes. Customized training is also available for area businesses through their Business and Industry Department.
