cross country girls

The Henryetta high school girls cross country team will be going to state.
They placed fourth at the regional contest at Nichols Park Saturday in a field of 11 schools.
Mya Powders turned in the best time for the HHS girls, completing the 3200 meter run in 4:25.6. She was followed by Kaitlyn Clark 4:34.3, Holly Stuart 4:41.2, Bayleigh Nye 4:43.7, Ashlyn Green 5:27.2, Emily Smith 5:36.6 and Emma Kranz 6.55.6.
The HHS boys had to settle for eighth in the overall points but will have one Knight going to the state contest.lollis
Keaton Lollis turned in a 4:09.5 for 30th place to earn that trip.
Also participating were Jordan Knox, 34th, Kanon Bailey, 44th, Garett Witt, 59th, Bailey Graffman, 60th, and Nick Pak, 83rd.
