Jerry Eugene Crum was born June 28, 1943 in Gatesville, Tex., to Charles Eugene and Dorothy Maxine (Click) Crum. He died Dec. 27, 2016 at his home in Okemah at the age of 73,
He and Sandra Weaver were married in January of 1962. Jerry owned and operated an insurance office in Henryetta and Oklahoma City and later operated a Sears Store in Henryetta for 25 years and another Sears Store in McAlester for five years. He was also the owner and operator or the Cow Creek Ranch House truck stop and restaurant in Henryetta for five years. Jerry invented and put into production the Radiator Genie and was currently the CEO of the company which is in all 50 states and into Canada. Jerry is a member of the Henryetta Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Randy and one son, Bryan Eugene Crum.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Crum of the home; one son, Buck Crum and wife Tara of Okemah; one daughter, Michelle Rychecky and husband Todd of Littleton, Colorado; two brothers, Scott and wife Dawn and Denny and wife Patty of Ohio; two sisters, Sherry Strohl and husband Donnie and Rita Castle and husband Jimmy both of Ohio and five grandchildren, Lincoln and Raegan Rychecky and Haley, Cole and Ellisa Crum.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Henryetta Church of Christ in Henryetta. Interment will follow at the Cow Creek Ranch Cemetery near Okemah.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Bro. Rex Walcher.
