Executive director Roy madden pointed out, “It doesn’t take a lot of money to do a lot of things. Henryetta is not the only community with this problem. Knowing that, we need to improve them.”
Haitt praised the chamber members for their devotion to the community. “Our members are members of Rotary, Lions and are involved in so many things. They do so much for our community.”
She has been a part of the annual Jim Shoulders Living Legends Rodeo. “Its 25 years old,” she said of the annual event recalling when he first one started and had to be held in the daytime, “because we didn’t have lights. Now we have made many improvements to the arena. It gives me a sense of pride and glad we went through the work.”
