HS Girls Team at 4A Classic in OKC

Henryetta netsters captured two first place wins and three second and third places at the Oklahoma City 4A Classic tournament this past weekend. That gave the two teams enough points for second place overall trophies.
The number 1 doubles team of Summer Bryant and Rachel Montgomery sailed through the brackets  with wins over Clinton and Elk City to win their finals against C.C.S.
Second place in the girls number 2 singles went to Natalie Smith with a 0,1 win against Clinton then 4,0 over Regent  in the semifinals. She lost out 4,1 to C.C.S. in the finals.
Top Henryetta seed Fallon Rodgers started her day with a 5,2,0 win over Clinton but lost 2,1 to Regent. She came back for a 5,2 win over Tyra ward for third place.
Fourth place in the tournament went to the HHS girls 2 doubles team of HR and Hodge. They started with a 0,1 win over Pauls Valley then lost the next two matches with C.C.S. and Elk City.
The HHS boys had to settle for second in the 2 singles, third in 1 singles, fourth in 1 doubles and fifth and seventh in the 2 doubles.
Jordan Knox took a 1,1 win in his opener with Clinton then won against Pauls Valley to get into the finals. He won against Byng in the finals.
Colten Wion won by default in his first match then lost to Elk City 0,3. He came back to down Caleb Massei from Regent in a long match 2,4,0,4 for third place.
