The best way to get a group of elementary students excited is to let them see their teachers get a pie in the face.
That happened Thursday afternoon as the Henryetta elementary celebrated a successful McTeacher night Monday.
During a three-hour period, teachers sold $1,922.28 in fried pies. That resulted in a check to the school for $594.32 from Matt and Mary Baldwin and the Henryetta McDonald’s.
The success of the sales also meant five teachers got pies of their own delivered right n the face before the entire elementary student body.
“This was an amazing fun time,” said McDonald’s representative Dana Mims.
