Thick, black smoke punctuated by orange flames just about obscured a car that was destroyed just before noon Tuesday west of Henryetta. The fire erupted after the driver of the vehicle stopped it as he was heading to Webbers Falls from Moore. No one was injured in the fire that required the Henryetta fire department to extinguish it. Traffic had to be channeled down to one lane for about 30 minutes until the fire could be brought under control.
