Henryetta High School Choir students ranked very well at the OSSAA State Solo/Ensemble Contest in Shawnee this week.  These students represented Henryetta High School with three solos and a trio.  
Zach Thomas scored a ranking of Excellent for his Italian solo "Amarilli, mia bella". MaKayla Baxter sang a German song entitled "Vergebliches Standchen" for her solo and ranked a Superior.  Also scoring a Superior was Brianna Foster for her Italian solo "Non posso disperar".  MaKayla Baxter, Brianna Foster, and Ellie Eddy sang a trio, scoring a Superior, for their song "Slumber Song'.
These students, as well as the entire choral department at Henryetta High and Middle Schools, will be presenting their spring concert May 2, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Alice Ghostly auditorium.  The public is invited.
