This summer Henryetta athletes are being given an opportunity to improve their skills at the Knights football camp.
The program called, “Knight Time,” will be held throughout the summer according to coach Darin Johnson.
“We offer well over 40 opportunities during the summer for our athletes to work out, so for less than $1 a work-out they can get bigger, faster, and stronger,” he said.
The camp fee is $40 for the first child and $20 for each additional sibling. Students can be enrolled from grades 9 through 12.
Camps will be held at Cameron Field from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Johnson said coaches, “do not want money to be an issue for anyone and we have some sponsors for scholarships.” He said anyone needing help to contact him.
During the camp, athletes will be going to a team camp, hosting a 7-on-y game and will receive t-shirts.
A plaque will be placed at the school and in the locker room bearing the names of those who make 98 percent of the workouts.
