Henryetta school board members are not going to waste any time getting the paperwork going following the successful bond election Tuesday.
Monday night, board members will be starting the paperwork to sell the first $1.2 million building bonds for the project. That will include setting the bond maturities as well as scheduling the bond sale itself.
One of the first times on the agenda will be installation of Jeanie Duncan as the new board member. Following her swearing in ceremony, the board will be electing a new president, vice-president and clerk.
In other business, board members will be considering a request for a series of monthly town hall meetings to be held at the high school. That request was made in a email to superintendent Dwayne Noble.
Four retirements are going to be facing the board Monday night. They include Linda Smith, elementary music teacher, Sherry Allen and Linda Dockray, both child nutrition cooks and Norma Artussee, child nutrition director.
Carlie Wheeler has submitted her resignation as an elementary teacher and Angel Ellis is resigning from the Johnson O'Malley coordinator post. That will give the option to hire a new coordinator for the rest of the school year.
The board will meet at the superintendent's office at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be streamed live at www.thehenryettan.com
