Albert Bruner, a resident of Mounds, died May 23, 2017 in Mounds at the age of 69. He was born Dec. 28, 1947 in Lamar, Okla., to Bunnie Bruner and Emma (Fields) Bruner.
Albert served the Untied States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lewis Bruner, two sisters, Elouise Gambler and Elizabeth Barnett.
Albert is survived by his wife Elsie Mae Bruner of the home; son, Timothy Bruner of Boley; daughter, Emily Cochran of Tulsa; grandchildren: O'Shey Cochran, Taylin Cochran, Omia Washington, Malachi Bruner, Serena Bruner, Emerald Wallace, Quinton Holmes and Logan Holmes; one great granddaughter, Zyinthia Cochran; brother, Jake Bruner of Wetumka, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Integrity Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
