Andrew Franklin Cockrell, a resident of Sapulpa, died July 22, 2017 in Sapulpa at the age of 24. He was born Oct. 7, 1992 in Sapulpa to Albert F. Cockrell and Mabel LeAnne Cockrell.
Andrew grew up in Sapulpa, attending Sapulpa Public Schools and graduated from Sapulpa High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He later attended college at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah. He was also an Eagle Scout. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Partridge.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Al and LeeAnn Cockrell of Sapulpa; two brothers: Michael Anthony Whitehead of Holdenville and Alexander Glen Cockrell of Quantico, Virginia; by his best friend and companion, Jennifer Nigh of Sapulpa; maternal grandfather, Carl Partridge of Sapulpa; paternal grandparents, Glenn and June Cockrell of Tulsa; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and other extended family, as well as many good friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta with Rev. Bill Oldham officiating. Interment will follow immediately at New Sonora Cemtery in Henryetta under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
Pallbearers will be Dale Partridge, Jonas Partridge, Mike Partridge, Steve Morton, and Daniel Hensch. Honorary bearers will be Alex Cochran, Fred Channel, and Michael Anthony Whitehead.
