A joint effort by the Henryetta police and Okmulgee County sheriff’s departments resulted in the capture of Justin Kyle Lee Burney Thursday afternoon.
Burney, 27, has been sought in connection with the theft of two trailers in the Henryetta and Hoffman areas.
This past week, the sheriff’s department said he was a person of interest and asked for help from the public in apprehending him. Deputy Duston Todd did not comment on how Burney was located.
He was booked into the Okmulgee County jail. No bond has been set.
