Robbie Jo (Martin) Summers, a longtime former resident of Dewar, died Sept. 17, 2017 in Eufaula at the age of 80. She was born March 2, 1937 in Red Hill, Okla., to John Brison and Vernia (Pierce) Brison. Robbie owned and operated a Day Care for many years.
Robbie Jo is preceded in in death by her parents, John and Vernia Brison, her husband, Marshall Martin, her second husband Charles Summers, two sons, Larry Andrews, Darrell Andrews, one daughter, Loresa "Suzie" Foster, also by three grandchildren, Darrell Lee Franklin, Michelle Andrews and Randall Andrews.
She is survived by three children: Frankie Mayhar and husband Allen of Eufaula, Randy Andrews and wife LaRhonda of Henryetta and Ricky Andrews and wife Ronnia of Schulter; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; brother, John Brison and wife Dena of Jenks; sister, Letha Stephenson and husband Jimmy of Schulter; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Robbie will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 with family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be, Steven Carter, Curtis Andrews, Shawn Andrews, Shad Miller, Joseph Andrews, Marshall Dean Andrews, Nathan Franklin and Dylon Franklin.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Sharla Stephenson, officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
