Rose May Barnett, a resident of Henryetta, died Oct. 8, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 86. She was born April 10, 1931 to Gene and May (McClaskey) De Corbet. She married Robert “Bob” Barnett March 31, 1948 in San Antonio and followed him on many pipeline jobs. She was an entrepreneur, being a taxidermist, previous owner of Rose Garden Mexican Restaurant where for many years she sold homemade tamales. She was a member of the OES, Oklahoma Eastern Star.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, son; James Barnett, daughter; Susan Manis, brother; Gene De Corbert and a grandson Ace Manis.
She is survived by her husband Bob of the home; grandchildren: Leyah and husband Kenny Britt of Henryetta, Amy Barnett of Jenks, Billy Smock of Paden and Darcy and husband Todd Hunter of Henryetta; great grandchildren: Todd Hunter Jr, Nicole Hunter. Kelby Morgan, Daisy VanMeter, Jessica Britt, Phoenix Britt, Kade Britt and Gryphon Britt; great grandchildren: Wyatt Stange, Chazlynn Owen, Bristal, Harper, and Brecken Britt and a host of Nieces and Nephews

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel.
