The monthly Legislative Forums are being planned in Henryetta starting Jan. 31.
Set at the Colonial Restaurant at 608 East main, the forums will start at 8 a.m. with state and federal legislators being invited to discuss upcoming bills.
This year, the forums will be held on the last Friday of each month: Jan. 31, Feb. 28, March 28 and April 25.
"This gives local residents an opportunity to meet face to face with their elected representatives and voice their opinions on current issues," said Henryetta Chamber of commerce Executive Director Roy Madden.
In addition to allowing residents to be present in the room, this year the forums will be streamed live on the Internet through thehenryettan.com website. Those wishing to watch the forums on their computers will also be able to call in their questions to 918-650-8557.
