An Oklahoma City man had to be cut out of his car after a crash Friday evening four miles east of Henryetta.
The OHP reports David Wells, 50, received serious injuries when his 2010 Nissan went off the roadway on I-40 around 6:30.
His car struck a tree and the impact pinned Wells in the vehicle until members of the Henryetta fire department could use the Jaws of Life to free him.
According to OHP Trooper Mark Southall, Wells is believed to have suffered a medical incident that led up to the crash.
The victim was taken to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa for treatment of his injuries
