semi crash
The driver of a semi-trailer loaded with concrete walked away from a crash Thursday morning on Interstate 40. The big rig was eastbound shortly before sunrise when it went out of control and crashed on the south side of the highway. The truck flipped completely over spilling its cargo in the ditch and completely flattening the cab of the vehicle. The driver escaped with only a minor cut to his stomach. Troopers are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
That was the second semi crash in the area in two days. Wednesday morning a semi went off the roadway on the Indian Nation Turnpike about four miles south of town. It rolled twice trapping the driver in the cehicle. That truck driver had to be freed form the truck by members of the Henryetta fire department. He was said to be in stable condition with internal injuries.
