Henryetta police had their hands full trying to round up an escaped horse Sunday night.horse
The miniature horse got out of its pen in the McLaughlin and Dollins area shortly before midnight.
Officers Matthew Duke and Richard Hall tried to corral the four-legged fugitive but wound up in a brawl that left one officer wounded.
Seems Trigger didn’t want to be taken into custody and started kicking and even bit one of the officers on the arm.
The police were able to eventually get things under control and Trigger was returned to his pasture. A sign on the fence warns people that they need to beware of the animal.
Officers declined to say if there would be any assault charges filed against the animal.
