Activities at Fountain View Manor in Henryetta are about to get more exciting.
Ashley Johnson and Megan Clason, both employees at the facility, participated in a four-day training program through the Oklahoma Association of Health Care Providers to be certified as an Activities Director.
This 28-hour training program allows Megan Clason to hold the designated position in long term care and assisted living facilities across Oklahoma.  The classroom training offered instruction and innovative ideas for providing resident care for those who are on the front lines every single day, according to Connie Guinn, the education director for OAHCP.
In addition to hands on training and traditional classroom instruction, Guinn said, “The participants share their experiences and learn the most from each other."
