There's going to be a lot of happy children come Christmas day thanks to the employees at Anchor Glass.
For the past month, donations ahve been taken from the workers to buy toys for youngsters who are in DHS custody. Anchor Controller Clayton Moore said the toys will be taken to the DHS office in Okmulgee and passed out in time for the youngsters to have something to play with. "We also have gift cards for the kids who are 13 years old and up," he said.
Plans call for the drive next year to start in January and continue until next December in hopes to get even more presents.
