A fire Saturday morning north of Wilson destroyed this house. Fire departments from Wilson and Henryetta battled the blaze at the home located at the intersection of Wilson Road and Honey Creek Road. The cause is still under investigation but it is believed to have been electrical in origin. There have been several house fires in recent weeks. Firemen are urging everyone to be careful if they are using space heaters since the cords can overheat and ignite surrounding materials.
