Four Okmulgee residents were arrested on drug-related charges Monday after deputies searched a home in that town.
Darren Bowling, Chad Moffett, Paula Poor, and Charles Holatha have been booked into the county jail after deputies said they found marijuana, methamphetamine, and prescription pills in the home. Deputies had been driving by the house when they saw an altercation in the yard. During their investigation into that matter, they decided to get a search warrant and found the drugs.
No bond has been set for any of the individuals.
An unrelated investigation a few days earlier has resulted in Mounds resident Marcus Hetherington being arrested for child abuse and neglect as well as drug charges.
He allegedly injured his year-old child who was admitted to an Oklahoma City hospital wit multiple broken bones. His bond was set at $200,000.
The child’s mother, Barbara Hetherington, was arrested and booked into the Okmulgee County jail on an unrelated felony warrant.
Earlier this month, James Allen Farrow was arrested on charges of performing a lewd act with a child and indecent exposure. That incident was said to have happened in December in Henryetta where Farrow was watching several children. His bond was set at $100,000.
