Ledger Lee Garrison, a longtime resident of Hanna, died Jan. 20, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 88. He was born Sept. 29, 1929 in Rhine, (near Hanna) to Carl Larkin Garrison and Lottie Lillian (Bryan) Garrison.
He married Lahoma June Pendley May 10, 1947 in Whitefield, Okla. Ledger was a well known rancher, farmer and general store owner. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eufaula and was a Melchizedek Priest Holder.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Lorene Hammontree, Fred Garrison, Wanda Sheward, Carl Howard Garrison, Ida Mae Weider, Billy Joe Garrison, one grandchild, Landon Sitdman, one great-grandchild, Leo Stidman.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lahoma June Garrison of the home; three daughters: Kathy Garrison of Hanna, Teresa Pratt and husband James of Eufaula and Anita Stidman and husband Randall of Eufaula; nine grandchildren: Tamra Morgan of Hanna, Cary Odom and husband Michael of Tahlequah, Ryan Cox and wife Tennie of Hanna, Torie Anderson and husband Josh of Hanna, Lauren May and husband Anthony of Derby, Kansas, Dillon Pratt of Eufaula, Travis Pratt of Eufaula, Lacy Stidman of Eufaula and Lucas Stidman and wife Kristie of Hanna; 13 great-grandchildren: Ty Davis, Taryn Davis, Carter Odom, Waylon Odom, Allen Cox, Allie Anderson, Kutter Anderson, Blazie Anderson, Willow May, Wyatt May, Lottie Johnson, Laynie Taylor, and Lola Stidman; great great grandchild, Coreina Copan "Baby Doll" Davis; sister, Freda Lou " Sally" Hinz of Liberal, Kansas; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 28 at the Hanna School Gymnasium with Billy Green officiating. A family luncheon will be served at noon on Sunday at the Hanna Community Center. Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
