She will be representing the Henryetta FFA chapter in Oklahoma City at the state convention April 30 through May 1.“We are very excited that she was selected,” said HHS chapter advisor Cody Dawson. “There are going to be over 6,000 people there then the group will be going to the Capitol to sing to Oklahoma legislative members.”
He said there were around 300 students who auditioned for the chorus earlier this month.
The chapter is in the process of raising money for the state convention trip. One of the fundraisers is sponsorship spaces on the FFA/4H booster club t-shirt and banner.
He said anyone wishing to have their business included on the t-shirt and banner for $100 should contact him or any FFA member.
