Henryetta churches are trying to make sure students get something to eat this week while school is closed.
Members of the First Baptist and First United Methodist churches are distributing lunch meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
While the meals are being handed out at the two churches, a number of them are being distributed to some of the special needs families around town.
The meals are being furnished at no charge. All students have to do is go to either church.
During that same periood, the churches have opened their gyms to let the youngsters enjoy some games and other activities.
