For the fifth year, area boys and girls are being invited to attend the Sports Academics and Life Skills Camp in Henryetta.
It will be held June 4 through 6 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school track and field complex and is free to all participants.
Organized through the Josh Heupel 14 Foundation, the camp features a number of current and former NFL and college coaches and players working closely with students stressing health, fitness, life choices and developing leadership principles.
Former college coach Ken Heupel spoke to Henryetta elementary students this past week describing the camp/
“If you are a boy or a girl it does not matter. We are going to talk about being great leaders,” he told the students.

A bus route has been set up to pick up campers each day of the camp.
Bus will leave the High School at 7:00 am to pick up students
The bus will stop at the following locations:
1st stop: Mcutcheon Park on Warren Rd.
2nd stop: Trailer Park on Wilson Rd.
3rd stop: Old VFW Building on Frisco Ave.
4th stop: Mona's Restaurant 500 E. McLaughlin Street
5th stop: First Christian Church Parking Lot
6th stop: Walmart
7th stop: Methodist Church Parking Lot
8th stop: Immanuel Baptist Church Parking Lot
9th stop: Henryetta Housing Authority
10th stop: Formerly known as Pig Out Palace, Parking lot. 10029 Old US Hwy 62
