The Henryetta FFA officer team for 2018-19 has been selected. Chapter President is Whitney Treagesser, Vice President is Ryan Clark, Treasurer is Neecie Gillin, Secretary is James Martin, Sentinel is Leia Howton, and Reporter is Allison DeVore. FFA advisor Cody Dawson said the group is already setting plans for the coming year.  The FFA chapter is giong to join with the Henreytta 4-H club to hold a cleanup day at Nichols Park June 9. Dawson said the project will start at 6:30 a.m. and continue through 1 p.m. Volunteers are invited to participate. "The first 20 people will receive a free t-shirt," he said. That project is part of a $1,200 grant just received from the Great American Cleanup organization. The FFA chapter has also just been awarded a $15,000 grant from the Oklahoma Deparment of Career Technology. That money will be used to buy a CNC plasma metal cutting machine. Dawson said it will be used to make metal artwork.
