The Jim Shoulders Spring Roundup rodeo closed out Saturday night before one of the largest crowds in recent years.
Young and old fans enjoyed the action that included 11-year-old Sharon Bateman and Wendy Lattin demonstrating several trick riding acts.
“We know that Henryetta has a long rodeo tradition and people in the area enjoy seeing the talented men and women who perform,” said chamber executive director Roy madden.
He said this rodeo was a precursor to the Living Legends rodeo that will be held over the Labor Day weekend in September. That rodeo will be marking 25 years of top-notch performances and plans are underway to make it one of the best in the area.
