Saturday saw the Lady Knights come home with 2-2 from their shortened appearance at the Beggs Festival.
A fast-moving storm rained out the Friday games leaving the HHS girls to play Tishomingo then Spiro on Saturday.
Henryetta lost 4-3 to Tishomingo in a timed encounter. The Lady Knights had three runs in the third inning with Katelyn Dwiggins and Avery Miller getting RBIS. That tied up the game cancelling the first inning Tishomingo RBI then picked up two more in the third. A single by the Lady Indians provided the winning r un.
Against Spiro, the game was just as close. Henryetta was down 4-3 in the bottom of the third when Lexi Lollis got a single to score two runs.
The HHS scoring started in the first inning with a single RBI by Dwiggins.
That game saw Avery Miller throwing for five and a third innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out two Lady Indian Batters.
Kasedi Gobin did the pitching duties for the Lady Knights against Spiro. She gave up three hits and four runs with three strikeouts.
