Some robbers went for more than just a bucket of chicken at the Okmulgee Kentucky Fried Chicken Friday morning.
According to Okmulgee police chief Joe Prentice, around 8:21 in the morning, two men broke into the business through a window and pulled a gun on an employee. The two, described as light-skinned black males, had their faces covered.
They assaulted the employee then forced him to turn over a set of keys that was used to open a safe.
Prentice said a third suspect was believed to have been involved but was never seen.
Once the robbers had the cash, they left the building.
Anyone who has information about the robbery is asked to call the Okmulgee olice department.
