Claude Ray Stacy, better known as "Ray", a resident of Morris died Feb. 13, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 83. He was born Aug. 9, 1935 in rural Okemah to Virgil Stacy and Lillie (Dearman) Stacy.
Ray was a member of True Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Bixby and was also a former longtime member of the United Pentecostal Church in Morris. Ray retired from Ford Glass Company in Broken Arrow after many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Dustin Rainbolt, four brothers, Elmer Stacy, Si Stacy, Short Stacy, Gene Stacy, also by two sisters, Nita Henderson and Wanda Wilbourn.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie Stacy of the home in Morris; children: Mike Stacy and wife Judy of Morris, Randy Stacy and wife Nohemi of Coweta, Robin Smith and husband Jodi of Morris, Mary Stacy of Okmulgee, Rick Bliek and wife Sherry of Henryetta, Mark Bliek of Okmulgee, Laura Bliek of Vancouver, Washington; 15 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two brothers, Omer Stacy and
Bill Stacy and wife Helen of Okmulgee; sister, Oma Edwards of Okemah; sister-in-law who is considered like a sister, Ruby Stacy of Okemah; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, church family and other relatives.
Viewing for Ray will be from 2 until 8 p.m., Feb. 18, and 8 until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Integrity Funeral Service
Pallbearers will be, Michael Stacy, Chris Stacy, Chad Stacy, Colby Stacy Mark Bliek, and Chris Rainbolt. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. John Cogan, Rev. Donald Bradley, Keith Canady, Ron Barmore, and Jimmy Hurt.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2019 at the United Pentecostal Church at 608 West Ozark in Morris with Rev. Rodney Stacy and Rev. Raymond Stacy officiating. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
