New officers for the Okmulgee County Republican party were elected this week.
Named chairman is John Gaston with Don Raby as vice-chair, Brent Davis and LuAnna Kanada selected as state committee members.
Gaston,and his wife Amber, are the parents of six girls and have another child on the way. He is in the Army Reserves, works in the oil and gas industry and is one of the owners of the McCulloch building.
Raby is a leader in the American Legion and he and his wife Sue have a farm south of Okmulgee. Raby used to be John Gaston's Master Sergeant in the National Guard so they go way back with a history of mutual respect.
Davis is a semi-retired, physician from Henryetta who is still practicing part time at a Eufaula clinic.
Kanada and her husband Oren have a ranch near Henryetta. she has been involved in leadership with the Okmulgee County Republicans for more than a decade and also is faithfully involved with Aglow Ministries.
