James Michael Giles, a resident of Checotah, died April 21, 2015 near Checotah at the age of 23. He was born September 7, 1991 in Dallas, TX to James Ray Giles and Paula (Day) Giles.
He went to Weleetka Public Schools where he enjoyed playing football for the Weleetka Outlaws and was a Weleetka High School graduate in 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ray Giles; a nephew, Joel Lollis; and his brother-in-law, Rocky Lollis.
Michael is survived by his two children: Naomey Giles and Arabella Giles of Weleetka;  mother Paula Giles of Checotah; three sisters: Stephanie Sullivan of Henryetta, Laura Lollis of Morris, and Amanda Giles of Corpus Christy, Tex.; brother, Ben Giles of Checotah; mother of his children, Julia Ritter of Weleetka; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Integrity Chapel (410 E. Trudgeon St.) in Henryetta with Rev. Michael VanMeter, officiating. Interment will follow at Endtime Revival Church Cemetery south of Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
