Henryetta’s boys tennis came away with third place in the HHS invitational held this past week.
Jordan Knox blasted his way through the 2 singles brackets to face Cooper Knutsen from Riverfield. He eventually lost that contest 1,1.
The HHS 1 singles brackets saw Jordan Osterdock win his first match, 3,4 against Seminole’s Andrew Choate but he was blanked by Aaron Brewer from Riverfield. Brewer would go ahead to win the 1 singles title. Osterdock came in fourth when he lost out 2,1 to Max Remy from Bixby.
The 1 doubles team of Keaton Lollis and Colten Wion received third place medals with wins over Bixby’s Epperly and Malloy. The HHS pair started with a win over Wagoner’s Drake and Gaither but lost 2,0 to Allen and Wadley from Grove putting them in the third place brackets.
Henryetta’s second team, started with Conner King losing 1,0 in his 1 singles match but won 4,2 over Jordan Williams from Wagoner. He lost the finals on the consolation side to Andrew Choate 0,0.
The Henryetta black 1 doubles team of Nash and Osterdock lost their opening match then won against Seminole and Wagoner for fifth place.
The 2 doubles saw Grant Holder and John Ritter draw a bye in the first round then win over Wagoner but lost to Grove in the finals. Henryetta black team of Riley Padgett and Riley Pixler lost their opener then faced off with Bixby for fifth place winning that 2,4.
