The Henryetta Knight Brigade will be staying at Le Méridien Arlington, a 4-star hotel in Arlington, Virginia. Located a 20-minute walk west of the Lincoln Memorial, the 12-story hotel opened in 2007. It has 154 guest rooms and suites as well as a great view of the Potomac River.
Some of the rooms look down on the Capitol while others have distinguished views of Georgetown, Virginia.
Most of the attractions in the Washington, D.C. area are within a few minutes of Le Méridien. One of the most awe-inspiring is Arlington, National Cemetery, located just a mile south of the hotel.
Arlington is sometimes referred to as a city, but is actually a county which contains no incorporated towns or cities within its boundaries. It was originally part of the 10-mile square area set aside in 1791 
for the nation’s capital. The land now comprising Arlington County was returned to the Commonwealth of Virginia by the U.S. Congress in 1846 and was known at the time as Alexandria County.
