The HHS boys golf team accomplished a pair of goals this past week. Playing at the Atoka Invitational, they won first place and posted a season low score of 360. Drayton Slyconish had an 85 for the day with Rhett Williams shooting a 91. Riley Berry and Casey Bryant each had a 92 and Dalton Kramer shot a 98. They are in the first round of playoffs Monday with an eye toward the state tournament.

The list of state slow-pitch softball contenders gets a lot smaller after Thursday.
That's when the regional tournaments at Prague, Sulphur, Blanchard and Sequoyah-Tahlequah come to an end.
The Lady Knights, ranked third in slow-pitch, go to Prague (ranked 7th), and will be meeting Chisholm (14) and Chandler (9th).
Game times at Prague start at 1 with Chandler and Prague then Henryetta and Chisholm at 2:15. The winner's and loser's brackets play at 3:30 and 6.
Top-ranked Sequoyah will be hosting 13th-ranked Cushing, 10th ranked-Muldrow and fifth-ranked Heavener.
Blanchard, ranked 15th in the state, will be the host school for Cache (14th ranked), Anadarko 11th ranked), and Bethel, (8th ranked).
Sulphur, currently holding down 16th in the state, is the host school for Purchell (2nd ranked), Hugo, (12th) and Valliant (6th).
