Henryetta school board members hired HHS alumni Bryan Leader to fill several positions including that of high school baseball coach.
bryan leaderLeader, who graduated from HHS in 2013, received his degree last year from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. He has been teaching and coaching at Dewar for the past nine months.
The decision to hire Leader was made at a special board meeting Wednesday morning. In addition to coaching baseball, Leader will also be an assistant football coach and Indian education coordinator for the school.
The board accepted resignations from Darin Johnson, Cody Dawson and Autumn Smith at that same meeting.
Johnson will be coaching the Holdenville Wolverines this next year. Dawson has accepted a position as FFA advisor at Stigler.
