A convicted felon who is out on bond for operating a chop shop was arrested again this past weekend.
Shannon BondShannon Bond, 32, was said to have been driving recklessly near Mounds and was pulled over by an Okmulgee County deputy Friday evening. After the stop, the deputy found the vehicle had been reported stolen in Tulsa earlier in the day.
Bond was booked into the Okmulgee County jail on complaints of reckless driving, driving with a suspended or revoked drivers license and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
He was arrested in January at his home in the Hectorville area after officers found five stolen vehicles. Bond was out on a $20,000 bond for that incident and was scheduled for a hearing Aug. 14.
Bond had served time in prison for receiving and possession of stolen property as well as assault and battery on a police officer. He had been released from prison in April, 2018.
His wife, Danielle, was arrested in January on misdemeanor charges of obstructing an officer, destroying evidence and escape from arrest or detention. She is scheduled to appear in court before judge Pandee Ramirez Aug. 9.
