James Allen Green, a resident of the Henryetta-Morris area, died Aug. 17, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 55. He was born Nov. 28, 1963 in Nashville, Ark., to Rufus Alton Green and Lorene (Monks) Sudderth.
James married Shelly Hall July 25, 1985 in Stigler. To this union two children were born, Jami and Jake.
James worked as a sales representative for Performance Foods and was a faithful member of the New Life United Pentecostal Church in Checotah.
He is preceded in death by his father Rufus Green and his mother, Lorene Sudderth.
James is survived by his wife, Shelly of the home; two children, Jami Pridemore of Morris and Jake Green of the home; three grandchildren, Karson Pridemore of Stigler, Jordan Pridemore of Morris and Destiny Williams of Colorado; two brothers, Johnny Green of Mineral Springs, Ark., and Brad Sudderth & wife Bridget of Shawnee; as well as his church family, friends, and a host of other relatives;
Viewing for James will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with family present to greet friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019 at New Life United Pentecostal Church, 805 W. Gentry, Checotah, Oklahoma. Rev. Derek Hanson and Rev. Justin Monks will officiate. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be, Johnny Green, Brad Sudderth, Kevin Godwin, Jerry Britt, Jake Green, and Tyler Bobo. Honorary pallbearers will be, David Monks, Leo Monks, Gary Monks and Matt Monks.
