Gary Wayne Britt, a resident of Henryetta, died Sept. 25, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 52. He was born Sept.15, 1967 in Okmulgee to Ed "Man" Britt and Cilla (Dunzy) Britt.
Gary was a member of Salem Baptist Church and previously Dewar First Baptist Church. He worked in many phases of construction from framing to the finished building.He married Judy Bush Sept. 17, 2016 in Henryetta.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Manuel Britt in 2011, his maternal grandparents, Diamond and Island Dunzy, his paternal grandparents, Bo and Louise Britt, also by an aunt, Aleta Britt Whittington.
He is survived by his wife Judy of the home; two sons, which includes Brandon Lee Britt of Henryetta; mother, Cilla Litsey of Dewar; father, Ed "Man" Britt and wife Sherry of Bixby area; sister, Terri Moore and husband Matt of Independence, Kansas; maternal aunts and uncles: Donnie Dunzy of Okmulgee, Della LaSarge and husband Chuck of Okmulgee, David Dunzy and wife Reda of Dewar; paternal aunt and uncles: Vernon Britt and wife Yvette of Mounds, Ernie Britt and wife Diane of Pleasant Valley, Janie Adams and husband Don of Sallisaw; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 29 at Integrity Funeral Service. The casket will remain closed.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Britt, Andy Britt, Terry Bush, John Coach, David Dunzy, and Chuck LaSarge.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30, 2019 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow in Daniel Family Cemetery on Tiger Mountain. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
