Alfred Lee Britt, a resident of Henryetta, died Nov. 22, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 84. He was born Nov. 6, 1935 on Tiger Mountain to Tommy Elzy Britt and Virgie (Perkins) Britt.
Al was the past president of the United Steel Workers Union. He was a member of the Northside Racers. He was an ordained minster and was a member of the Northside Worship Center in Henryetta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Virgie Britt, brothers, Jack, Clyde, and Clarence Britt, and sister, Gladys Ramsey.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Britt of Henryetta; son, Tom Britt of Cushing; daughter, Donna Stangborn and husband Pat of Tulsa, son, Randy Tucker and wife Sarah of McAlester, son, Mike Tucker of Hoffman, and daughter, Vicki Dykes and husband David of Schulter; grandchildren; Silence Britt, Jennifer Atkinson, Sara Osborn, Jeremy Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Ryan Fowler, and Kendale Fowler, and many great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 and Monday, Nov. 25, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Will Gordon and Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at Hoffman Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
