stolen car

Henryetta police officer Jeff Webster recovered a stolen car Monday morning.
Webster was on patrol on U.S. 75 when he saw a car that was said to have been stolen from Okmulgee over the weekend. He pulled the vehicle over near the intersection of U.S. 75 and U.S. 266 and arrested Lance Keough, 40 who was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
“Jeff had remembered the tag and vehicle information from a stolen vehicle report broadcast out to area police departments,” said Henryetta chief Steve Norman.
Keough was booked into the Okmulgee County jail on complaints of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving under suspension.keough
This is the second time Webster was involved in recovering a stolen vehicle based on a radio report.
He was involved in a chase on I-40 last April that resulted in recovery of a vehicle stolen in Kansas and arrest of two fugitives.
