Henryetta police said the new year started off with twol felony arrests and a number of traffic stops.
Police chief Steve Norman said the holiday falling at the middle of the week was a key factor in holding down some of the extensive partying that happens when New Years falls on a weekend.
Henryetta police arrested Chad Lane Huddleston, 41, for first degree burglary, attempted escape and resisting arrest. He is alleged to have broken into a neighbor’s apartment.
Phabien Flores was booked into the Okmulgee County jail on complaints of driving under the influence, driving under suspension leaving the scene of an accident involving damage and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
