Nannie (Watts) Lewis Watts, a resident of Dustin, died Feb., 2020 in Tulsa at the age of 97. She was born Dec. 2, 1922 in Hughes County to Lumber Proctor and Minnie (Watts) Proctor.
On March 28,1948 she married Sonnie Lewis Kano in McIntosh County. They were married for 66 years.
She is preceded in death by one son, Gary Ray"Chebon" Lewis; three grandchildren, Taryn Lewis and Kalyda Howard, Terrance Marshall; her parents, Minnie and Lumber Proctor, and her close cousin, Charlie Proctor.
She is survived by four children: Minnie McCulley of Dustin, Lela M. James of Tulsa, Jerry Lewis of Dustin, and Maggie Lewis of Weleetka; grandchildren: Rhina, Lou, Akeyah, Zac, Charity, Jovenna, Tory, Tishanne, Cameron, Devon, Larinda, Adrienne, Casey, Holly, Shyla, Katrina, Alex, Ryan, Hokkolen, Farran, Richard Jr., Sandy, Nancy, Lisa, Tara, Melissa, Thomas and Darrell; 58 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Home.
Wake Services are scheduled for Monday, February 10, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna with Pastor Mark Smith and Pastor Charles Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow at the Lewis Family Cemetery near Vernon, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
